A nice baguette is our favourite snack at the winery.
Meet our Pilgrims, the most friendly and hard-working geese you will ever come across. As large contributors to our traditional farming, they help keep our land in balance. Geese are known to be very territorial and alert us when there is an intruder. Although they may seem aggressive, these are docile and will not attack unless they are protecting a nest or goslings. Unlike our vineyard and cellar practices, geese are not vegetarians. They eat slugs and other harmful bugs to our vineyard, as well, they are very efficient weeders. We started with 3 geese, and now the gaggle has naturally grown to 20. We lovingly call these Pilgrims such names as Blue Eyes (Franki), John Wayne, Marilyn Munroe.
